The picnic was duly laid out in glorious sunshine and after gorging ourselves on all sorts of goodies a walk was called for if only to help digest all the food.

Twas on the 10th of June we cast off from Strawberry Island to lands anew for the purpose of a picnic, the usual crowd of land lubbers laden with goodies headed through locks a plenty (well at least two) past the far distant shores of Barnby Dun,Fishlake and Sykehouse and towards land where "there be dragons" (a clear patch of embankment with a few cows in the next field).

An excellent time was had by all and I'm sure I can speak for every one and say we all look forward to the next outing searching for ripe blackberries.Dave
